Detech Chaser 14

The DETECH EDS Chaser 14 is a professional VLF metal detector designed for deep searching and relic hunting, with a strong focus on large and medium-sized buried targets. It operates at a low frequency of 4.8 kHz, which allows effective penetration into the ground and improved performance on deeper objects.

Built on VLF (Very Low Frequency) technology, the Chaser 14 delivers stable operation in mineralized soils while supporting audio discrimination for separating ferrous from non-ferrous targets. The detector uses 2-tone audio identification, making it suitable for relic sites and open terrain where depth is more important than fine target separation.

The detector is supplied with a large 14″ DD search coil, optimized for depth and ground coverage. Its digital electronics and microprocessor-controlled system ensure consistent performance and reliable signal processing during deep searches.

The Chaser 14 features adjustable discrimination, visual and audio battery status indication, and automatic recognition of the connected search coil. It offers two search modes — Normal mode and Deep mode — along with automatic and manual ground balance, allowing adaptation to varying soil conditions.
